I have known Dr. Raju for many years and brought him numerous serious trauma patients when he worked at Lutheran Medical Center in NYC. As a NYC 911 EMS Paramedic, I was impressed with his intense and professional treatment, successes, and bedside manner. When my grandmother needed an operation, he was the only one I trusted enough to allow to perform the procedure. I am so very happy for him to see that he is the CEO of the HHC at Chicago. You have a great man / Physician at the helm, congratulations.

I know Dr Ramanathan Raju,MD while he was at Lutheran medical center, Brooklyn,NY . I met him after 2 months of failure to find a residency admission when I entered the USA ( FMG from India) to do my postgraduate training -MD after clearing US medical licensing examinations. He was introduced to me by another resident doctor who was also benefited by him with his kind hearted help in terms of academic career. Even without knowing much about me , except going thorugh my resume ,he understood my genuine interest to do higher studies in Medicine and refered me to another physician who was a program director at that time in 1999in another hospital to give me an externship. With that externship training I was able to gain entry into a residency program.

He is a one in million kind of person, dedicated to the field of Mediicne and have a lot of comnpassion and empathy for human beings in need. Till today he is a very simple man ,easily accessible and kind man. May God bless him and his family. Almost everyday I think about him.

    Dr Aruna Adaikkalam,MD.
